I'm using an Asrock B650M-HDV/M.2 motherboard and thinking about upgrading from a 7600 to a 9800X3D. Asrock mentioned they've released a BIOS update that addresses some issues, but I'm curious if there's real evidence that it has improved the failure rate. Has anyone had experience with this upgrade, and do you think it's safe if I stick to the latest BIOS?

From what I’ve seen, CPUs are still failing, which makes me think they haven’t resolved the core issues yet. I'm actually leaning towards skipping the 9800X3D and going for the 7800X3D instead because I just don't trust the stability right now.
Totally get that! It might be wiser to hold off for something more reliable.
