Is it Safe to Use Expanding Foam for Moving My PC in Winter?

I'm planning to move my PC during the winter and I'm wondering if it's safe to use expanding foam to secure the components inside the case. My main concern is how well the foam will hold up since the UPack container will be exposed to extreme cold during transport. Has anyone else tried moving their PC in winter?

I recommend uninstalling the GPU and packing it separately, especially if you have a heavy CPU air cooler. Everything else should be fine in the case as long as you're careful about how you pack it. Just be cautious if your case has a glass panel—those can break easily. Good luck!

Thanks! I'll make sure to pack the GPU in its original box—it should fit snugly there.

You could just grab a pack of large bubble wrap from a local UPS or hardware store—it's usually about $20-30. Just disconnect the GPU and leave the rest in the case. It shouldn’t move around too much. Are you sending this as a gift or for repair?

Thanks for the tip! I hope my local store has plenty in stock.
