I've got a Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB DDR4 RAM running at 3200MHz, and a Radeon 7900XTX, with my setup running games smoothly at 1440p @ 165Hz. After upgrading to the new GPU, I'm really happy with performance and visual quality overall, except when playing BeamNG (VR), which is giving me a bit of trouble. It's still experimental, but I can't seem to find the right balance between performance and visuals. Besides gaming, I also do 3D modeling and haven't had any issues there. I'm considering if a CPU upgrade would help, but I want to avoid moving to an AM5 setup since that would mean getting a new motherboard as well.

Definitely consider getting a 5700X3D! It seems like a solid upgrade, especially for the games you're playing. Your system looks well-balanced, but if you really want to improve BeamNG (VR) performance, that CPU would definitely help. Also, I heard Zen 6 is going to be a game-changer in a year, so it might also be worth waiting it out.
Yeah, I'm keeping an eye out for deals on the 5700X3D too. It's probably worth it since AM4 is phasing out, and I remember how amazing it was to just drop in the Zen 3 chips for a substantial performance boost!
