I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 9700X processor, with 32GB of DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz, and an RTX 3070 GPU. Right now, I'm gaming at 1080p, but I plan to upgrade to 1440p in the next month or two. Given this transition, should I consider upgrading from my 3070 to a 50 series card, like the 5070, 5070 Ti, or 5080? Also, is my current 3070 going to bottleneck my CPU? Thanks for your help!

If your RTX 3070 isn't giving you the performance you need, upgrading to something like a 5070 Ti is a solid choice—especially with your move to 1440p. If you can afford it, definitely consider that option, or look into the 9070 XT if it's a better deal near you.

One thing to think about: is the 5080 overkill for 1440p gaming? I've read that the 5070 Ti is pretty close to the 5080, but the 5080 is about $300 more where I live.
