I've noticed that when I play games, I often have a lot of web tabs open too, and my RAM usage can spike over 90%. I'm currently using 16GB of RAM, and I'm wondering if I should upgrade to 32GB. If I do decide to upgrade, should I buy two more 8GB sticks (my current RAM is 2666 MHz) or should I go for a completely new set of 32GB?

Generally, it’s better to stick with two sticks rather than four for optimal performance. However, given the current memory market, it might not be worth getting a whole new set of 32GB. I suggest adding another set of two 8GB sticks, but just ensure they match your current ones in specs. Also, check if your current RAM sticks are single rank for best compatibility.
Good points! I'll check my RAM sticks before I buy.
If you’re planning to bump up your RAM and want to stick with faster options, I’d personally go for the 32GB kit. But if you want to keep it at 2666 MHz, just grab two more 8GB sticks to keep it simple.
Alright, I'll think about that option too.

That makes sense, thanks for the tip!
