I'm looking for advice on whether I should upgrade my PC by purchasing just the 5070ti. Here are my current specs: GPU - 3060ti, CPU - Ryzen 7 3700X, RAM - Crucial Ballistix 16GB 3200 DDR4, Mobo - MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS, and I can't remember my PSU but can get a better one if necessary. I play at 1440p and while I'm not focused on ray tracing, it would be nice to have the option. I'm considering this as a temporary upgrade until I can save for a more comprehensive upgrade in the future, but I want to know if buying just the 5070ti will lead to substantial bottlenecks with my current CPU and RAM, or if it's a worthwhile investment for a boost in fps right now.

Upgrading to the 5070ti is a solid choice for future-proofing, even though you'll likely run into some CPU bottlenecks with the Ryzen 7 3700X. It should still be a decent incremental upgrade.
If you're on the 3700X, you will notice some bottlenecking depending on the game and settings you're using. If you can, it might be smarter to get a less expensive GPU for now and put some funds aside to upgrade your CPU later, ideally to something like the 5700x3d if that's an option.
Thanks for the insight! I actually plan to save up for that CPU upgrade, but want a good GPU in the meantime.
