I recently built a gaming rig with a 9800x3d and a 5070ti. I ordered a monitor, the AG276QZD2, which supposedly has a new version that supports 280Hz, but the one I received is the 240Hz model. I'm wondering if it's worth the effort to return the monitor and try to get the 280Hz version, or if the difference is really that noticeable?

Honestly, I think it’s not really worth it to stress over the return. You paid for that monitor expecting it to be as advertised, so sure, go ahead and return it! You deserve what you paid for.
You likely won't notice much difference between 240Hz and 280Hz in most scenarios. However, considering it’s a 27” 1440p monitor, I’d suggest returning it and checking out the new monitors with Pulsar technology. They claim to have amazing motion clarity and are 360Hz too. It'd be a solid upgrade!
I get what you're saying! If there’s a better version at the same price, why not? But keep in mind how often you want to go through shipping and returns. Maybe contact the seller to see if they can provide the newer model instead?
