I'm considering swapping my Ryzen 5 5600G for a Ryzen 5 5600. I know it might sound silly, but do you think I'll notice any performance boost, or is it not worth the effort? For context, I currently have an RX 5700XT 8GB GPU and 32GB of RAM. By the way, I already have a Ryzen 5 5600 just sitting around.

Swapping to the Ryzen 5 5600 would give you a tiny performance bump, but honestly, unless you're getting that CPU for free, it's probably not worth the trouble. Just a bit of a hassle for not much gain, you know?
In general, the performance difference is minimal. It’s not really worth it unless you can snag a good deal on the 5600 and sell your 5600G for a decent price.
You probably won't see any noticeable difference unless you're really searching for it. Many people say it's not worth the swap.
Thanks for the input!
Yeah, I actually put the 5600G in my new PC by mistake and I'm avoiding tearing everything down again to switch it out!
