In my area, I noticed that a used 4070 Super is going for about the same price as a brand new 5060 Ti. I found a deal where I can trade my 5060 Ti and pay an extra $20 for the 4070 Super. Is this a good move?

Honestly, while you'll gain around 20% in raw performance, you're losing 4GB of VRAM, and the used card probably won't have a warranty. I wouldn't go for it.
Technically, it seems like a decent upgrade. However, used GPUs can be tricky, especially if you're shelling out extra cash on top. Plus, you'd miss out on the warranty and more VRAM with the 5060 Ti. Think carefully before making the jump!
If it's a straight trade and just $20 on top, that's not so bad. The 4070 Super is definitely more powerful, but keep in mind its resale value isn't great compared to the 5060 Ti right now.
From my experience, I traded a 5060 Ti for a used 4070 Super last month. If it has a warranty, go for it! Just be cautious and check it thoroughly. In the end, the performance upgrade can be worth it, especially for casual gaming at higher settings.
I’d stick with the 5060 Ti unless you really need more power. It's newer and has more VRAM, and you won't have to worry about a used card that might not perform like it should.

Totally agree with you. A lot of folks are afraid of VRAM, but if the new card meets your needs, why not make the swap?
