Hey everyone! I'm thinking about upgrading my gaming PC's GPU from a 2070 Super to a Radeon RX 7900 XTX. My Ryzen 7 3700X CPU isn't overclocked, and I'm a bit worried about potential bottlenecking. I'm looking to keep the upgrade under $1,000, but if it makes more sense to do a full upgrade with the CPU and motherboard later, I'm open to saving up for that. Right now, I'm okay with my build, but I can only play some games on medium settings, so I'd like to know if this GPU is a good choice to extend the life of my setup before a complete overhaul.

You would definitely want to think about upgrading your CPU too, like to a Ryzen 5700X3D or 5800X3D. If you're not gaming on a 4K monitor, stick with 1440p. In that case, a 1440p GPU like the RX 7900 or RX 7800XT can keep your budget balanced for both the CPU and GPU.
My monitor is actually 1440p, and I'm fine with that resolution. Seems like upgrading my CPU is a must, though. My motherboard doesn't support AM5, so I'll probably go with an AM4 CPU until I can do a full upgrade.
