I'm currently running a Ryzen 7 9800x3d with an NVIDIA 3090 and 32GB of DDR5 5800MHz RAM on a B650 Plus WiFi motherboard. I'm considering upgrading to a 7900 XTX to boost my FPS in Escape from Tarkov, as I'm averaging around 80 frames but experiencing frequent stutters and drops. Would this upgrade make a significant difference, or should I explore other options?

Swapping to a 7900 XTX might help, but have you thought about going for a 5070Ti instead? They’re usually priced similarly and could offer a better experience overall. Unless there are specific compatibility issues with Tarkov and AMD, it might be worth considering the NVIDIA route for that game!
Are you gaming at 4K? If not, you might just want to stick with your 3090 and tweak the settings a bit. I own a 7900 XTX and while it’s a good card, it might not drastically improve your Tarkov experience. You’ve got a solid CPU, which is key, and the game is just not very optimized right now. Maybe hold out for the next generation of GPUs?

I do use DLSS, but the stutters are driving me crazy! I'm losing fights because of these issues. Do you think getting an extra stick of RAM could help? I actually had a dead stick from my last order and have just been using one.
