I'm currently using a 5700X3D with 3200MHz RAM, and I'm considering upgrading to a 9600X with 5600MHz RAM. How much of a performance boost can I expect for CPU-bound titles? Also, I'm planning to switch from an RX 6650XT to an RTX 5070 as part of this upgrade. Would that impact performance as well?

Honestly, you might not see much improvement. The 9600X is only about 10-15% faster than the 5700X3D. If you’re already on a 5700, it might be better to hold off on upgrading this generation entirely. They don't offer a huge leap for what you're currently using.
Thanks for the insight! I do have the 5700X3D now, but my parents mentioned if I give my current setup to my brother, they’d get me a new one. Maybe I should reconsider then.
