I'm currently using a 9600X CPU with 32 GB of 6000 MHz CL 30 RAM and a 7800 XT GPU, paired with a 360 Hz monitor. While I'm getting decent performance in League of Legends, I've noticed my fps drops to around 300 in some situations while playing Counter-Strike on certain maps. I'm considering upgrading to the 9800X3D, which I can get for €350, and I can sell my 9600X for about €160. Does this upgrade make sense in terms of performance improvement?

For around €190, if you can gain 15-30% more performance, it sounds worth it to me! You might enjoy a smoother experience overall.
How can you even notice dropping to 300 fps?
It all depends on how serious you are about competitive gaming. If you care a lot about every frame, it might be worth considering.
Honestly, not worth spending on a small upgrade. These games can run fine on basic setups.
I don’t think it’s really worth it. The upgrade might not make a big difference in your gaming experience for Counter-Strike.

With a 360 Hz monitor, stutters become noticeable if fps dips below about 300. I can’t tell if it stays above that, but below 260, I definitely see tearing.
