I'm considering swapping my Ryzen 5 5600X for a Ryzen 7 5700X3D. Will this upgrade significantly improve my performance, or are there better AM4 CPUs available? I didn't get DDR5 RAM in time, so upgrading that isn't an option for me right now.

Upgrading to the 5700X3D would be a solid choice, but you might have trouble finding it at a reasonable price. The 5600X is already pretty capable, so what's pushing you towards an upgrade?
I'm battling CPU bottlenecks in games like Cyberpunk with a lot of mods and in other titles. My 3060 can handle upscaling, but I need a better CPU to keep up.
