Hey everyone! I'm considering an upgrade to my current setup, which includes an AMD 2700X CPU and 16GB of RAM. I was thinking of moving to an AMD 5700X CPU and boosting my RAM to 64GB. I got this idea after helping my grandma choose a laptop with 40GB RAM, and it made me wonder if my current specs are outdated now that I'm on Windows 11.

I enjoy playing older games and have my eye on GTA 6, but I'm not sure if I should make these changes now or if I can hold out for a bit longer. Any thoughts or suggestions? Honestly, in most gaming situations, 32GB is already over the top. If you're gaming at 1080p, 64GB isn't necessary. In my experience, after upgrading from a 3600 to a 5600X, I noticed significant improvements. My memory usage doesn't even hit 32GB during demanding games, so you might not need to go that high with RAM.
