Upgrading to a 5060 will be a fantastic leap from your current 1060. Sure, some folks might mention that 8GB of VRAM isn't always enough, but considering your starting point, you will definitely notice a significant performance increase!
I went from integrated graphics to a GT 1030 and saw a 300% performance boost. If you jump from the 1060 to the 5060, I bet you’ll feel an amazing improvement too!
