I'm currently using an AM4 setup with a Ryzen 5 5600X and an RTX 4060. I'm considering whether to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D or move to an AM5 platform instead. The catch is that I'm not very knowledgeable about swapping motherboards and the whole upgrade process. What do you think?

Upgrading to the 5700X3D is definitely an option, but with its price hitting $400-500, it might not be the best value right now. You could invest in an entirely new AM5 setup for around $409, which includes a 7600X, a B650 board, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a cooling solution. That seems like a better path if you're looking for a future-proof build.

Thanks for the advice! I'm planning to get that bundle soon and build the PC myself.
