Is it Worth Upgrading My CPU and GPU for Better Gaming Performance?

I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600X with a RTX 3080 Ti, and I've had solid performance for over four years. While I usually get around 60-70 FPS on medium to high settings with DLSS enabled for more optimized maps, performance dips can occur, especially on tough maps like Streets where I drop to about 40-50 FPS. I'm considering upgrading to the Ryzen 9 7900X3D and adding 32GB of 6000 MHz RAM as I hop onto the AM5 train. I'm wondering if I should also upgrade my GPU alongside this new CPU and RAM. What do you all think?

If your budget allows for a GPU upgrade, then I say go for it! You've been using your current setup for a while, so treating yourself to a new GPU could greatly enhance your gaming experience. Plus, the newer tech will help you avoid issues like frame drops on those challenging maps.

Exactly! I'm in the same boat, and I'm also looking for recommendations on an Nvidia card that pairs well with the 7900X3D, but maybe not at the 5090 price point!
