Is it worth upgrading my PC setup for 1440p gaming?

Hey everyone! I'm currently gaming at 1440p with a setup that includes a 5700XT graphics card and a Ryzen 5 3600x processor. I feel like I'm at a point where an upgrade might be beneficial, but I'm not looking to spend a fortune. My motherboard is limited to AM4, so I can't build a whole new setup, which is a consideration. I've got a budget of $1,000 for upgrades. Based on this, what do you think would be the best upgrade options? Would it actually be worth it? I appreciate any advice!

Start with the RX 9070 as your main upgrade, which would cost around $650-680. It's likely to triple your gaming performance! After that, if you notice any CPU bottlenecks, you can still upgrade to the 5700X for about $140 more, depending on what games you play.

Upgrading to a Ryzen 5700X or even the 5700X3D combined with an RX 9070 XT would be a solid move. It’s not only going to elevate your gaming experience, but it’s probably the best upgrade path without breaking the bank. If you can snag both, that’d be a game-changer!

Absolutely right! But if you can hold off, it might be wise to wait a bit longer for GPU prices to stabilize before investing.
