I'm trying to decide if I should stretch my budget for a 5070, which is currently priced at $480 on Newegg after rebate and comes with a copy of Arc Raiders. I know some people suggest going for a 5070 Ti or a 9070, but I really can't go any higher than this. Is it a good move?

Just a thought: Are you pulling funds from somewhere else for this upgrade? I always recommend investing more in your GPU and scaling back a bit on RAM or CPU where possible.
If you're sticking with 1080p gaming, the 5070 is perfect. You're getting a boosted experience compared to the 9060XT with that card.
Definitely a great choice! You basically get a significant upgrade plus a free game. It's a solid card; don't let the naysayers fool you! I've been really happy with mine since I got it.
Awesome! I'm leaning toward it now thanks to your input!
You won't regret it, trust me!
Totally worth it! The 5070 delivers about 35-40% more raw performance than the 9060XT. Sure, it only has 12GB of VRAM, but that should be sufficient for the majority of games at 1440p. If you ever find it lacking, you can always tweak the graphics settings a bit.

Good question! This is just a solo GPU upgrade for an existing build, so I can't adjust the budget too much. My current setup includes a B450M, Ryzen 5 5600G, 16GB DDR4, and I'm replacing an RX6600. I'm already skimping on some other parts!
