I'm considering whether I should upgrade to a 5090 graphics card, which costs around $1250. Currently, I have a 5070 Ti and my monitor is an AW2725DF, but it's not a 4K monitor and I don't plan on replacing it anytime soon since I bought it just a couple of months ago. Should I go for the upgrade, or is it not worth it without a 4K setup? Here are my specs: GPU: 5070 Ti, CPU: 9800x3d, Motherboard: B850 Aorus Elite, PSU: Corsair 1000e, RAM: Corsair 32GB DDR5.

At 1440p with ultra settings, the 5090 outperforms the 5070 Ti by around 40%. If you can swing it financially, the 5090 is an awesome choice, especially with that high refresh rate monitor!
What kind of FPS are you seeing in your games at 1440p? How well can your monitor keep up?
If you're really questioning it, maybe it's not the right time for an upgrade. Just enjoy the setup you have for now!

For games like Valorant or CS2, I get over 500 FPS. With AAA titles, I'm usually around 100-150 FPS.
