I'm thinking about upgrading from my RTX 3070 to a 50 series card, specifically considering the RTX 5070 and the 5070 Ti. The 5070 is priced at about $743.24, while the 5070 Ti is around $1,006.18, which is quite a bit more. I mainly game at 1440p and have no plans to move to 4K soon. What are the key differences I'll miss out on if I choose the 5070 Ti instead of the standard 5070, especially in terms of gaming and productivity?

If productivity is important to you, I'd say go for the 5070! It offers solid performance for both gaming and work. But if gaming is your main focus, consider checking out the 9070 XT as it sometimes beats the 5070 Ti in raw performance. Just a thought without sounding like a fanboy!
If you're outside the US, the price difference might not be as bad. The 5070 Ti has been available for MSRP in some places. I even grabbed one for $749 at Walmart! So you might find decent deals too.
Yeah, I'm from India, and prices have really shot up here. Sadly, my 3070 just died last week, so looking for options!
What about rendering performance? Nvidia cards generally do well there. If you’re doing a lot of rendering work, the 5070 Ti might give you just that little extra boost you might appreciate.
Haha, totally hear you! I'm in a similar boat with balancing gaming and video editing.
