Is it worth upgrading to DDR5 or just getting a new GPU?

I've built a PC mainly for rendering with 3ds Max and Corona, where I rely more on the CPU than a high-end GPU. However, I also enjoy gaming, and currently, I can only play Cyberpunk 2077 at medium settings. I have a Samsung Odyssey G9 49" 5120x1440 monitor, which really stresses my GPU. I'm wondering if I can achieve max settings in Cyberpunk by just upgrading my GPU (and possibly the PSU and cooling) or if I should look into switching to DDR5 ram instead.

Here are my current specs:
- Motherboard: Asus Tuf B650 Plus WiFi 2
- CPU: Ryzen 9 5950X with Corsair H100 360
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 3600 32GB (2x16GB)
- Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 1TB
- PSU: Cooler Master MWE Bronze 750v2 80+
- Case: Cooler Master Td500 Mesh
- GPU: Inno3D 12GB RTX 3060 TwinX2

I might also need a new PC case. What do you suggest?

Have you checked the prices for a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM? At 5120x1440 resolution, your RTX 3060 is definitely holding you back in most games.

Upgrading to DDR5 isn't going to be easy since your current setup supports DDR4. If you want DDR5, you would need a new CPU, a compatible motherboard, and the accompanying RAM. It might be better to just focus on a GPU upgrade instead.

I was really trying to figure out if a full DDR5 upgrade is necessary or if just replacing the GPU could do the trick.
