I recently got hacked and received a request from Microsoft asking for credit card details for account recovery. They want the last 4 digits of the card, along with the name, last name, and expiration date. Is this legitimate?

Yep, definitely a scam! No legitimate company asks for credit card numbers in situations like this. I'd recommend not providing any information and checking your account for any suspicious activity.
That sounds like a scam to me. Microsoft usually won't ask for credit card information to recover an account. If you were contacted, it's likely not them. Be careful!
Make sure you follow the official recovery system on Microsoft's website. Don't click any links that were sent to you in emails or calls. You can find official recovery options at their site directly.

What about my Microsoft account? Should I reset that too?
