Is Missing Metal in My 24-Pin Connector the Reason My New PC Won’t Start?

I just built a new PC, but it won't power on. I've tried everything I can think of and then noticed that I can see through one of the pins in the 24-pin connector — there's no metal in it. Could this be the reason my system won't turn on? I'll try to upload a photo to show what I mean. Edit: [pic](https://imgur.com/a/ENY8wtA)

That pin you’re seeing is actually supposed to be empty! It used to be a -5V pin for old ISA devices, so it's not an issue for modern setups. PSUs haven't included that pin for a long time.

Hmm, so if that's the case, what do you think could be the real problem? Everything else looks connected fine, but it still won't turn on.
