I'm putting together my first PC build with a budget of $1,400 and I'm focusing on digital art, coding, 3D modeling, and gaming. I plan to use it for games like Marvel Rivals, Genshin Impact, modded Minecraft, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk (with light modding), Destiny 2, and Terraria. I'm thinking of pairing it with the MSI MAG274URFW monitor, which I hope can handle 1440p gaming. I'm curious if I'm on the right track with my budget and components, and whether they will fit in my chosen case. I've seen mentions of RAM clearance issues, which makes me a bit anxious. Plus, I'm keen on keeping a blue outside and mostly white inside aesthetic for the build.

Here's my take: I did a quick swap to the 9600X and changed it up with a B650E white motherboard that has some black accents. I also added a 9070XT GPU that has RGB fans, which I think you can customize to be white. I added a different CPU cooler just for variety, but there aren't many affordable white options out there.
I’m definitely going with your idea! Thanks a lot!
Your build looks solid! One suggestion would be to switch to a Ryzen 5 9600X since it’s only about $5 more. Don’t worry too much about the RAM clearance; the Peerless Assassin cooler should work well with those tall RGB RAM sticks. If you're open to spending a little extra, you could also consider a fully white motherboard for a cleaner look!
Thanks for the tip! I think I'll go with the 9600X!
For your gaming tasks, this build is impressive! Just a heads-up: that GPU might not be the best option for your 3D modeling and art applications. If you’re using software like Blender or Maya, they run better on Nvidia cards due to CUDA support. You might want to look into something like the 5070 or even a 5070Ti if you're serious about performance for those programs.
I think that steel legend 9070XT will look awesome with that motherboard since they both have that white-and-black theme, but it’s all about your style!
