Is My 650W Power Supply Enough for My New GPU?

Hey everyone! I just upgraded my graphics card from a 5600G to a 5800XT, and I'm using a 650-watt power supply. I also got some 3600MHz RAM, but I can't seem to overclock it to that speed — it only works at 3200MHz with other RAM. Do you think my power supply is sufficient for this setup?

It sounds like you're not facing a power supply issue. Usually, a 650W PSU should handle a 5800XT just fine, especially if you aren’t overclocking too much. It might just be a compatibility issue with that RAM rather than power limitations.

Thanks for the help! So, you think a 650-watt supply is enough for my whole build?
