Is My 8-Pin PCIe Connector Normal?

Hey everyone! I just came across this 8-pin PCIe connector and I'm a little concerned about its appearance. It seems to have a 'picked' look to it but the power supply (PSU) connects without any issues. Here's a link to the image I found: https://imgur.com/a/hlBJXdO. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or if I should be worried about it?

Are you talking about that small gap between the top left plugs? That's totally normal for some connectors. As for the color differences, it sounds like a just aesthetic variance, not something to fret over.

Honestly, I’m not exactly sure what you’re pointing out. But it looks like that is a power port for a graphics card. You'd generally plug in a 6+2 PCIe power cable from the PSU into that connector. I did notice you mentioned something about a whitish color at the bottom hole? That usually happens sometimes and isn’t a problem at all.

If the PSU connects perfectly and you're able to game without issues, then there's no need to stress. As long as everything feels sturdy and there's no odd behavior from your setup, you're good to go!

Thanks! I checked and everything is solid, just worried about the appearance of one side looking a bit shorter.
