Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a PC and I want to know if the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5GHz 6-core processor (Socket AM4) is compatible with the Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite Motherboard (Micro ATX, also Socket AM4). I'm not too familiar with these components, but my friend is helping me out. I heard from ChatGPT that the other parts are compatible, but I'm a bit confused about the BIOS part. Any comments or advice would be super appreciated!

You can definitely check Gigabyte's website for the CPU support list for your motherboard. It will show you compatible CPUs and the necessary BIOS version you need. If you’re getting a new motherboard, it should have the latest BIOS, so you should be good to go!
