I've just started using an iPhone and my experience took a hit when my Apple ID got locked. Coming from Android, this is a totally new issue for me. Thankfully, my account was restored, but I've heard that Apple only unlocks your Apple ID one time, and if it happens again, I'm out of luck. Is there any truth to this? I'm really concerned about my data. If I get locked out again, I might not even be able to install an app to recover my data!

I don’t see anything that confirms Apple only unlocks accounts once. I checked their support page and there’s no mention of that policy. The unlocking depends on why your account got locked in the first place—like if there was a flag for fraud or something like that. So, don't panic just yet! You might still be okay if you take precautions.
That makes sense, but it was just me setting up my phone and syncing to iCloud! I wish they had given more information when they restored my account. It’s hard to feel secure if I don’t know what triggered it.
