I accidentally bent the rubber tip of my laptop charger when it fell over, but the metal pin itself is fine. There's a small hole in the rubber, but it still charges my laptop. I'm worried—could this be a fire hazard, or is it safe to keep using it since it still works?

I suggest you keep using it for now, but definitely start searching for a replacement. A bent connector can eventually fail and might damage your laptop. Plus, new chargers are pretty cheap, so it’s not a major expense!
Honestly, it's a common issue and typically not a fire hazard. As long as it still charges, you're probably fine for now.
If it works, keep using it for now. However, I wouldn’t wait too long to buy a new one. You wouldn’t want it to short out and damage your laptop in the process. Check eBay for some affordable options!
It's mostly safe, but the risk of failure increases once they've been compromised. Best to get a new one sooner rather than later, especially since some chargers are pretty inexpensive now.
True, it feels safer just to replace it rather than take a chance.
That rubber part shouldn't be a big deal if the metal connector is intact. I'd keep an eye on it just in case, but usually, chargers like that just fail without igniting anything.
Yeah, but it might be worth looking for a replacement soon. Just to be safe!
Good point! It's not worth the risk when replacements are affordable.
