Is My CPU Order a Scam?

Hey everyone! I'm new to building my own PC and I've hit a bit of a snag. I ordered a Ryzen 7 9800x3D CPU for $469.99 off Amazon through PC Part Picker, and although most of my parts have arrived, I'm getting worried about the CPU. It's being shipped by a service called Yun Express, and while it was shipped on April 22nd, there haven't been any updates since then. The tracking number I got from Amazon doesn't work either, and I found out the seller is a store called 'Haitesi Glasses,' which mostly sells cheap glasses. Amazon isn't letting me contact the seller since they claim to be handling the shipping. Should I just go ahead and cancel this order?

Thanks to everyone who helped! I just talked to Amazon customer support and canceled the order. I feel a bit dumb, though, because now I’ll have everything but the CPU. It’s out of stock everywhere else except eBay, and I'm iffy about trusting random sellers again. 😅

You're likely getting scammed. I would definitely request a refund and reach out to customer service.

Make sure you report the seller too, just in case others fall for the same thing!

Definitely use Amazon's A-to-Z Guarantee! If the product doesn't show up on time, you should be able to get your money back easily.

It’s a scam for sure. Always check that it’s 'Sold and Shipped by Amazon' or from reputable sellers. If it doesn’t feel right, it usually isn't!

Yeah, I would cancel that order. It sounds like it's being sold by a third-party seller that you can't really trust. It's better to go to a local tech store and grab it in person if you can.

Pretty much a scam, man. If the seller isn't reputable, it's not worth the risk. Just cut your losses and get a refund.
