I'm putting together a PC build with a budget of $1000 to $1500 and I'm planning to use either the RTX 5070 or the 5060 Ti 16GB graphics card. Here's the current breakdown of the parts I'm considering:

- **CPU:** Intel Core i5-12600KF 3.7 GHz 10-Core
- **Motherboard:** NZXT N7 Z790 ATX LGA1700
- **Memory:** TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB DDR5-6000
- **Storage:** Klevv CRAS C910 2 TB NVME SSD
- **Case:** Antec C5 ARGB Mid Tower
- **Power Supply:** Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 (2024) 850W Gold Certified

The total cost comes to approximately $682.94. Given the budget and parts, I'm wondering if this is a good build or if I should consider switching to an AMD build instead.

Your build will work fine, but since you aim for a high-end GPU, think about switching to AMD's AM5 platform. Also, consider getting a RAM kit with a lower CL rating, like 6000 CL30, for better performance. Regarding the PSU, the Toughpower GF1 (2024) isn't the best option due to its missing native connectors. There are solid alternatives in the $100 price range.

Totally agree that an AM5 setup could give you better value for the performance.

If you can, check out Microcenter for deals; they often have combo discounts on parts, which can really help. I recently built a PC with a similar setup, and my total was around $1700.
