I've just taken off my Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler to clean my CPU and apply new thermal paste. However, I've noticed that the brackets look uneven and don't line up straight across. I vaguely remember this being a problem during the build. Is this a normal situation, or could it potentially impact my cooling performance? I'm trying to figure out if there's anything I can do about it since the brackets only seem to screw in one way, with one at the bottom and one at the top hole.

Looks like you've got the wrong bracket for your Intel 1700 socket. What you have seems to be meant for older Intel sockets. You may need to order a new one. If you try running it like this, it might not cool efficiently, so it could lead to overheating.
It sounds like the way you installed them might be the issue. If they aren't aligned properly, that could lead to cooling problems down the line, especially if they aren't making good contact with the CPU.

If I used it like this, do you think it would significantly affect cooling? I'd prefer to avoid ordering a new bracket if possible.
