Is My Dream PC Build Good for Flight Sims and Competitive Gaming?

Hey everyone, I'm planning to build a PC specifically for flight simulators like DCS World and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, as well as some AAA games and competitive titles such as Fortnite, Valorant, and Siege. I've put together a part list that I think will work well, but I'd love your feedback on it. Here's the link to my build: [PCPartPicker](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/tc9YqH). I'm aiming for really good FPS in Fortnite and would like to maintain at least 120 FPS in other games, as I want to make sure it's worth my investment. Also, do you think my setup will age well over time? Thanks in advance for your help!

What's the resolution you're aiming for? This build should hit 120 FPS at 1080p easily, and it could manage 1440p on medium settings for many games, though some AAA titles might struggle at that frame rate.

I’m thinking about 1440p for competitive games and maybe 4K for casual play. For those non-competitive games, I’m fine with 60 FPS. But in Fortnite, I really want high FPS since this is replacing my PS5 Pro!

You might want to consider getting a 5070 Ti instead of the GPU you currently picked. It's not only more powerful but also offers better performance for the price. Check out this link for options: [5070 Ti on PCPartPicker](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/VK7MnQ/zotac-solid-sff-geforce-rtx-5070-ti-16-gb-video-card-zt-b50710d3-10p).

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll look into the 5070 Ti!

If you're considering alternatives to your GPU, don't overlook the 9070 XT—it could be better depending on availability and pricing. Also, you might find an 850-watt power supply for a similar price, like the MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5.

Can you explain the differences between those two GPUs?
