I accidentally dropped my HDD, and while I can hear it spinning, it doesn't show up in my file manager. I've tried updating the USB drivers and disabling/enabling the drive, but none of that worked. The drive does appear in Device Manager, but it's nowhere else. I even tried connecting it directly to the SATA port on my laptop, but still no luck. I was hoping to get it working again so I can play Death Stranding. Any ideas?

I hope you have a backup of your data! If the drive isn’t recognized beyond Device Manager, it might be a sign that it’s toast.
HDDs are pretty sensitive to drops since they have lots of tiny moving components inside. Sadly, they often don’t survive shocks like that. You might want to consider data recovery services if you really need the data on it.
Honestly, it was working fine, you dropped it, and now it isn’t. Updating drivers isn't going to fix physical damage. If you're looking for solutions, that might be more about hoping for a miracle than a fix.
