Hey everyone! I have an ECS G41T-M16 (V1.0) motherboard, a Q6600 CPU, and currently, I've got 4GB of DDR3 RAM running at 1333 MHz. I'm looking to upgrade to 8GB but after trying an 8GB stick that didn't work, I'm thinking of going with 2 x 4GB sticks instead. Before I make the purchase, I want to make sure that my motherboard supports non-ECC RAM. Any advice?

You should definitely check the memory compatibility list for your motherboard first! According to the specs for the ECS G41T-M16, it actually doesn't support ECC RAM at all and is limited to 4GB DIMMs.

I found some 2 x 4GB DDR3 1333MHz non-ECC PC3-10600 LONGDIMM 1.5V sticks. Are those good to go?
