Is My First Gaming Build Solid or Are There Bottlenecks?

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to share my first gaming build and I'm looking for some feedback to ensure everything meshes well together. Here's what I've got:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (4.7 GHz / 5.2 GHz)
- **GPU**: Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT GAMING OC 16G
- **RAM**: Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000 MHz CL30
- **SSD**: Crucial T500 2TB with heatsink (heatsink is a must for me)
- **Motherboard**: MSI B850 GAMING PLUS WIFI
- **Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 Evo
- **Case**: Antec C5 ARGB (I wanted some RGB without breaking the bank)
- **PSU**: Corsair RM1000e (2025 model)

I'm aiming for solid performance at 1440p gaming (maybe getting into 2k or 4k later). Here are my main questions:

- Are there any potential bottlenecks in this combo?
- Is my motherboard a good choice, or would an alternative B850 or X870 work better?
- How is the **Gigabyte RX 9070 XT GAMING OC** holding up? Should I look into other brands like Sapphire or ASUS?
- Any red flags or tweaks I should consider?

I'm pretty much maxed out on my budget, but I could stretch it a bit if needed. Thanks so much in advance!

Your build looks great overall! The PSU might be a tad overpowered; an 850W should suffice. But if you plan on upgrading to a stronger GPU later, sticking with the 1000W isn't a bad idea—especially if the price difference isn’t huge!

Thanks for the advice! I was wondering if 1000W was too much, but I wanted the extra peace of mind. I'll consider the 850W option!

No major bottlenecks here! I'd suggest upgrading to the Gigabyte X870 GAMING WIFI6 motherboard; prices are pretty similar from what I've seen. Also, check out the PowerColor Hellhound OC RX 9070 XT—it's a solid choice over the Gigabyte version. Lastly, if you want to save, a 7800X3D might be a wiser pick since the performance difference isn't too noticeable at 1440p or 4k.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll look into the PowerColor options. Is the Red Devil version any good as well?
