Hey everyone! I'm super excited to build my very first gaming PC! I've been using a laptop with a 1660 ti 6GB for the last six years, and now I'm looking to upgrade to a 5070 ti. I got a recommended build from a local PC shop and I'm trying to figure out if the $2000 price tag is reasonable compared to what I found on PCPartPicker. Here's the list of components: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zWZsxg. I'd really appreciate your opinions, especially regarding pricing! Thanks a ton for your input!

You might want to check if a 9800X3D or even a 7800X3D fits in your budget instead. They could offer better performance based on pricing. If you stick with the 14900k, make sure to get a 360mm AIO cooler since a 240mm won’t be sufficient, especially since the 14900k runs hot and consumes quite a bit of power. Also, don’t forget to grab a Z790 motherboard; it should be around $250 or so.

I get where you're coming from with sticking to Intel, but if AMD is only $200 more, it might be wise to consider that option for better performance in the long run. Just make sure to check out different motherboard options too!
