Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first PC build and moving away from console gaming, but I'm feeling a bit lost on whether my parts choices are solid. My budget is around 2000€ and I've linked my part list for your review. Here's what I'm working with:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor - 409€
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE - 43.89€
- **Motherboard**: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX - 166.90€
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (DDR5-6000) - 118.44€
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB SSD - 163.78€
- **Video Card**: MSI VENTUS 3X OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti - 979€
- **Case**: NZXT H5 Flow - 86.31€
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A750GL 750W - 99€
This brings me to a total of about 2066.32€. I really appreciate any feedback or suggestions you might have!

Looks like a decent build, but I’d recommend a few tweaks. For the motherboard, maybe look for a better one that supports AMD's EXPO for the RAM. Also, consider a less expensive NVMe. Samsung drives can be pricey, and you might find similar performance elsewhere. Plus, bump up that PSU by 100W for just a bit more — it's worth it for headroom!
Your build looks solid! I have a very similar setup and I'm pretty happy with it. But just a heads up, my CPU tends to run hot, so you might want to consider an AIO cooler for better temps. Just a thought!
I'd suggest holding off on buying the GPU right now. Prices are a bit crazy, so check out local stores like Microcenter for deals. I recently found a 5070 Ti for around 830€, which is much better. Also, looking at the 9070 XT or 7900 XT might be worthwhile as they're generally cheaper and provide similar performance.
Thanks for the tip! I've been eyeing the 9070 XT. Between that and the 7900 XTX, which one do you think is better?
Totally agree! Upgrading the PSU for a few extra bucks is a smart move. But what case are you suggesting? Mind sharing?
