I'm planning to build my first PC with a budget of $2,000 to $2,500, hoping it will last at least five years. I'm aiming for a configuration that includes an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor paired with an RTX 5070 Ti, along with 32 GB of RAM and a total of 4 TB storage. I've done some research on YouTube and other forums to select compatible components, avoiding RGB parts as much as possible.
This PC will be used for gaming, recording, and working with Blender and Krita. I want to achieve high settings at 1440p with at least 120 fps for games like modded Minecraft with shaders, Red Dead Redemption 2, and emulating games like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Any advice on how to enhance performance within my budget would be greatly appreciated!

It seems like a great combo! I personally have a similar setup, and it runs fantastic! You're definitely on the right track for what you want to achieve.
Your build looks pretty solid overall! Just a couple of thoughts: you might want to consider adding another SSD for better storage performance. Also, while the 850W power supply should suffice, a 1000W could offer more flexibility and efficiency down the line.
Looks good, but you might be able to snag the CPU for $400 if you buy the motherboard directly from MSI. Just a thought!
Nice tip! Just curious, is there a specific brand of the 5070 Ti that's usually better than others?
One suggestion: your motherboard supports PCIe 5.0, so consider upgrading your SSD to a PCIe 5.0 model for better future-proofing. The price difference isn't huge!
Everything looks pretty great! I really don't think you need to change anything. This setup should meet all your gaming and content creation needs beautifully.

Nvidia suggests 850W as the minimum for the 5070 Ti, so you should be good with what you have!
