Hey everyone! My friend is selling me his gaming PC that's housed in a slick white RGB case. Here are the specs:
- Ryzen 5 3600
- RX 6600 XT
- 16GB RAM
He's asking for £250 ($332), which is a sweet deal compared to his estimated value of £500-600 ($670-800). He just got a laptop and wants to get rid of it since we're good friends. I'm not very experienced with PCs. Will this setup let me play games like GTA 5? And how easy will it be to upgrade later for newer, more demanding games?

Honestly, I think it's a solid price! You should definitely be able to run GTA 5 without any issues. However, keep in mind that the RX 6600 XT is starting to show its age a bit. If you're thinking about future upgrades, bumping RAM up to 32GB could help, and eventually, you might consider upgrading to a Ryzen 7 if you want more power. Just remember, the Zen 3 architecture is becoming a bit outdated.

For upgrades, the CPU is likely the weak spot—while you can upgrade it, it’s on a legacy platform, meaning you'd eventually need to overhaul the CPU, motherboard, and RAM for more modern capabilities. Additionally, check if the parts are standard or proprietary since pre-builts can complicate upgrades. Still, for gaming, I believe it’s a good buy!
