I'm looking to build a gaming PC specifically to play The Sims 4 and Inzoi. I live outside of the USA, but the prices for components are pretty much the same here. I haven't bought any parts yet, and I'm considering a budget between $1.5k and $3k. Here's my proposed build:
- **CPU:** Intel Core i7-12700KF 3.6 GHz 12-Core - $189
- **CPU Cooler:** Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX XT - $99.99
- **Motherboard:** MSI MPG B760I EDGE WIFI - $202.99
- **Memory:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 - $212.99
- **Storage:** Samsung 990 Pro 4 TB NVME SSD - $299.99
- **Video Card:** Zotac GAMING Twin Edge GeForce RTX 3060 12GB - $336.98
- **Case:** Corsair 2500X MicroATX Mini Tower - $159.99
- **Power Supply:** Asus ROG LOKI 850 W - $239.99
**Total:** $1741.92

Honestly, you don’t need an 850W power supply, and I think 64GB of RAM is overkill unless you're doing heavy multitasking. The RTX 3060 is on the weaker side for this build; consider upgrading to something like the RTX 4070.
For a bit more money, you can get a way better setup! Check this out:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D - $399
- **Video Card:** Gigabyte EAGLE OC SFF GeForce RTX 5070 Ti - $899.99
Your total would still be under $2k, and this would give you a much better performance overall. Just some food for thought!
okay thank you for the insight!
