I'm planning to build my first gaming PC because I'm ready to upgrade from my PS4 instead of going for a PS5. I chose an AM5 motherboard for future upgrade options. Will this build be capable of running some AAA games? I mainly want to play at 1080p, but I'm hoping it can also handle 1440p. Here's what I've selected so far:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
- GPU: Colorful GeForce RTX 5060 Battle Ax
- Motherboard: COLORFUL BATTLE AX B650M PLUS V14
- Storage: 512GB SSD | M.2 NVMe Gen 3x4
- RAM: 8GB DDR5
- Cooler: AMD Wraith Prism
- PSU: Cooler Master Elite NEX 600W
- Case: GALAX REV 05 Chassis

Thanks for your insights!

Your budget of around $900 is a decent start! Just keep in mind that if you're aiming for 1440p gaming, it might be a good idea to upgrade your GPU to something like the 5060 Ti or the 9060 XT, as they will perform better at higher resolutions.

What about the GALAX GeForce RTX 3060? Will that be better for 1440p?

Definitely consider bumping your RAM up to 16GB. It really makes a difference for gaming performance and multitasking. With 16GB, you should be better set for newer titles.

The rest of your parts look solid, but make sure you double-check compatibility and plan for cooling, especially if you want good performance. It could save you some hassle in the long run.
