Hey folks! I'm 19 and I've been using this gaming PC my mom gifted me for the past three years. Recently, when I try to play demanding games like Warzone, Roblox, Fortnite, and WoW, my monitor goes black and the fans go crazy. I'm not sure what's causing this. I don't know the motherboard model, but here are the specs I know: 32GB of RAM, an NVIDIA 3070 GPU, and an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. If you need more details, just let me know! I really need to get this fixed because gaming is my only escape right now!

Based on your specs, everything seems fine, but if your PC resets only while gaming, ensure that your cooling system is working properly. Clean out your fans and ensure good airflow in your case. If that doesn't solve it, you might want to consider upgrading your power supply, especially if it’s on the lower end for a 3070 GPU.

Try using a program like CPU-Z to identify your motherboard model. This can help you find details about your CPU and RAM to make sure everything is compatible and running well. Plus, knowing your motherboard can lead you to check for potential BIOS updates that might help with performance issues.

It sounds like your PC might be overheating or having power supply issues, especially since it only shuts off when you're gaming. You should check your power supply's wattage and see if it’s sufficient for your setup. Also, monitor your temperatures while gaming to make sure your GPU and CPU aren’t overheating. This could help pinpoint the issue!

You might need to check your power supply specs by opening up your case or using a software like HWMonitor to see if your system is hitting its limits.

How do I check the power supply? I can see the temps and usage stats with Nvidia, but I'm not sure about the power supply.

From what you've described, it seems like the PC is happy during lighter tasks but struggles during intense gaming. This could indicate that your graphics card is drawing too much power when gaming, causing it to shut down. Make sure your GPU is seated properly and your power connections are secure. Also, consider cleaning out any dust from inside the case which can worsen overheating.
