I got my PC about a year ago, and now that I've bought Red Dead Redemption 2, I'm seeing FPS issues. It runs between 50-70 FPS in nature and 40-60 FPS in town on almost low settings, which has me worried. I want to know if my setup is truly good enough for gaming. Here are my specs:
- **GPU:** MSi RTX 4060 8GB White Dual Fan OC Edition
- **CPU:** Intel Core i7 12700K
- **RAM:** DDR4 32GB
- **PSU:** Mars Gaming BP750 750w
- **Motherboard:** Asus Prime B660M-A WiFi D4
- **Cooler:** Assasin Air Cooler
I haven't played many story games until now due to budget constraints, so I'm serious about optimizing my PC for better performance. I've tried using NVIDIA App, Control Panel, and MSi Afterburner, but nothing seems to improve my FPS. If anyone has tips or YouTube links for optimizing my PC to run games smoothly, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

There might be something wrong, given that your hardware surpasses the recommended requirements for the game. You might want to check out this thorough guide on fixing stuttering issues: [Fix Guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/PCRedDead/comments/1f3hbyw/here_is_the_100_working_fix_for_all_stutters_and/)
Your specs look solid for RDR2, so something seems off. Make sure your monitor is connected directly to the graphics card instead of the motherboard. That could help with performance issues!
You should definitely try optimizing your settings. There’s often the potential for a 50-100% performance increase with only a minor decrease in quality. Check out this video for some tips: [YouTube Link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hyzp4zRivis)
I've seen this video too, and unfortunately, it didn't help improve my performance either.

I know that already, I'm not that clueless!
