Is my Gigabyte RTX 3070 overheating?

Hey everyone! I've been playing Yakuza Kiwami 2 and noticed something concerning with my GPU. Usually, I cap my frame rates at 60 FPS to keep the temperature down, but after about 5 minutes of gameplay, my PC went from silent to super loud. I checked the GPU temperature and it shot up to 90 degrees Celsius, which is way higher than I've ever seen before. I played this game just two days ago with no issues. I've also undervolted my GPU using MSI afterburner to help with heat, and I'm using Fan Control. Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing this overheating issue?

It sounds like your GPU fans might not be spinning properly. Typically, an RTX 3070 shouldn't exceed 70°C, even under stress. You might want to check if the fans are working as they should. Have you noticed any unusual noises from the GPU?

Does that mean it could reach over 70°C only if it’s undervolted, or should it stay below that even stock?
