Is my GPU malfunctioning or is the HDMI cable the problem?

Hey everyone! I'm running into some issues with my PC. It keeps blacking out and shows a 'no signal' message on my HDMI when I'm playing games for about an hour. This happens across different games. I'm considering taking my graphics card to a shop to check if it's faulty because I just bought it three weeks ago and spent a good chunk of cash on it. However, I'm also wondering if it could be my HDMI since my DisplayPort works fine but runs games at really low frames. Any advice would be appreciated!

What are your system specs? And do you have an extra HDMI cord to check with? That could help narrow down the problem.

Here are my specs: GPU: 7600xt, CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x, RAM: 16GB, PSU: 600 watts (I’m under-volting slightly and not sure what brand it is). I think I can find another HDMI to test.

If your CPU has integrated graphics, you might want to try that to see if the problem persists. It could help determine whether it's your GPU or the HDMI causing issues.

I’m actually testing the integrated graphics right now, but it's not working either. So I’m leaning towards the HDMI being the culprit.

Have you tried swapping out your HDMI cable? I’m sure you’ve got a few spare ones around. Also, what GPU are you using? Nvidia cards often have some driver issues that could lead to black screens.

I have a Radeon, and I made sure the drivers are fully updated, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue.
