Last night, I had a party and accidentally spilled an entire can of beer on my GPU. I gave it a quick cleaning on the outside, but it's still not powering up properly. The startup lights blink on the sides, but then I hear a ticking noise and the lights go off. Any thoughts on what I should do? At this point, I'm considering giving it a full bath in isopropyl alcohol to see if it can be saved.

I’d say go for a full teardown and give it a good IPA (isopropyl alcohol) bath — definitely not India pale ale, haha! Then, dry it out in the oven at 70°C for a couple of hours before putting it back together. Just be careful with the drying process!
Lol, not that kind of IPA! Stick to the isopropyl.
Good luck trying to save it! Maybe consider a beer-free GPU next time, haha.
If it ever happens again, make sure to not power it on until it’s completely dry. It’s crucial to prevent any further damage.
Yeah, unfortunately, GPUs and beer don't mix well. Your card might be toast, so it’s worth considering a replacement.
Might as well throw in some cocaine for good measure, right? Just kidding, of course!
Haha, throw in some wild suggestions there!
You can wash the whole card under running water, but you’ve got to disassemble it first and ensure it’s really dry afterward. If it was powered on when the beer spilled, that might be game over for it. Trying to power it up is risky!
Totally, I left my PC on overnight too after a spill. Not my best moment.
That’s actually a solid method!
