Is My GPU Running Too Hot?

Hey everyone! I've noticed that my EVGA 3070 XC3 is regularly hitting temperatures between 80-83°C. Some people tell me that's pretty normal for heavy loads, while others suggest it should ideally stay below 80°C. I recently reapplied thermal paste to the main die, but it only dropped the temps by about 2°C. I've got three intake fans in the front and one exhaust fan at the back, all running at max speed, yet the temperatures still hover around 80°C. Should I be worried about this, or is this within the acceptable range?

It sounds like your cooling setup might need a little tweaking. Consider adding more exhaust fans at the back, or even placing an intake fan below the GPU to improve airflow. It might be that not enough warm air is being pushed out of your case. That could definitely help lower those temps!

When you mention exhaust at the back, do you mean at the top? Would an additional fan up there help get that hot air out?
